Synopsis
A group of young men arrive at the Japanese countryside, in
the middle of a white winter, to shoot a music video. But the house they've
rented is haunted by at least two ghosts, or maybe three, or four, or 10… The
main ghosts are a white-faced mother and child, while there's also a mysterious
Thai woman, our Buppha, who floats around in a mix of sadness and yearning, neither
alive nor dead…..
"If you're naked, you will see GHOST..."
A working trip to Japan turned into a scary ghostly encounter for these young men. Will they escape alive?
The movie I CAN SEE GHOST, is the first ever Thai horror movie shot in Japan?
ReplyDeleteAlthough the film had a simple premise, the variety of scares will keep you at the edge of your seat throughout the movie. The film also uses a number of traditional scares but they all work perfectly as the scares happen unexpectedly. Furthermore, the tension is built since the beginning of the film, causing the audience to become wary of every single rooms, doors or items in the film. The main characters in the film are lovable and quirky and the humour really blends well with the horror. The film had an unnecessary side-plot of romance which feels kind of forced and unnatural.
