For years, Tarzan has been out of the African jungle where he
once grew up. Living a civilised existence as John Clayton III, Lord Greystoke
with his wife, Jane Porter, he is asked to travel to Congo to serve as a trade
emissary of Parliament. Little does he know that he is part of Belgian Captain
Rom`s plan to exact his greed and revenge.
Tarzan, having acclimated to life in London, is called back
to his former home in the jungle to investigate the activities at a mining
encampment.
It has been years since the man once known as Tarzan
(Alexander Skarsgård) left the jungles of Africa behind for a gentrified life
as John Clayton III, Lord Greystoke, with his beloved wife, Jane (Margot
Robbie) at his side. Now, he has been invited back to the Congo to serve as a
trade emissary of Parliament, unaware that he is a pawn in a deadly convergence
of greed and revenge, masterminded by the Belgian, Captain Leon Rom (Christoph
Waltz). But those behind the murderous plot have no idea what they are about to
unleash.
Alexander Skarsgård is chest-thumping icon Tarzan in this adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs' classic tale from filmmaker David Yates (who directed the last four Harry Potter films).
Many years after he left Africa behind, Tarzan returns to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary, unaware that he is actually a pawn in a Belgian captain's deadly plot.

The special effects don’t look very good and while you can guarantee they’ll be improved by the time this movie gets released next Summer, why show them at all if they weren’t in a good enough state? I want to have faith in David Yates and he’s clearly a great technical director but this trailer isn’t really doing him many favours.
ReplyDeleteThankfully, Warner Bros releasing a teaser this far away from release at least shows some confidence in this film. The Legend of Tarzan trailer itself looks…pretty good actually. The aesthetic is quite beautiful, and the trailer keeps the perfect amount of mystery when it comes to the movie’s plot.
ReplyDeleteThe Legend of Tarzan (2016) movie story is different now. Starting of the movie is kind of like this The Legend Tarzan has left the Jungle for many years and he is very happy with his wife. Then he is been invited to Congo to serve as a trade emissary of parliament. He does not have any idea where he is going, miss leaded by corrupt Belgian Captain Rom who traps him with his mastermind.
