Synopsis
Lei Shihong, a tin-mining businessman in 1970`s Kinta Valley,
takes over his grandfather`s coffee shop business in Old Town, Ipoh. With his
tin-mining business going so well, Lei Shihong becomes rich. However, in late
1980s, his business begins to drop, and while many who are in the business
decide to illegally work abroad, Lei Shihong decides to stay in Ipoh, work for
his father and run the family business. However, one day Lei Shihong goes missing
after losing a huge amount of money from a race bet and owing the loan shark.
His family then has to suffer the consequences.
This is a Malaysia produced movie! Awesome production where it brings the memory of the small Old Town in a state of Malaysia, and allows the new generation to remember the history of the state.
