SYNOPSIS:
Everything seems to be changing for the better at Hotel
Transylvania. Dracula has finally loosened his strict monster-only hotel
policy, opening up its doors to human guests as well. But Drac is getting
worried that his adorable half-human, half-vampire grandson, Dennis, isn`t
showing signs of being a vampire. So while Mavis is busy visiting her human
in-laws with Johnny - and in for a major cultural shock of her own -
"Vampa" Drac enlists his friends Frank, Murray, Wayne and Griffin to
put Dennis through a "monster-in-training" boot camp. Things are
about to get batty, however, when Drac`s grumpy old school dad, Vlad, pays the
family a visit at the hotel; and finds out that not only is his great-grandson
half-human, humans are now also welcome at Hotel Transylvania.
Dracula and his friends try to bring out the monster in his
half human, half vampire grandson in order to keep Mavis from leaving the
hotel.
The Drac pack is back for an all-new monster comedy adventure
in Sony Pictures Animation's Hotel Transylvania 2! Everything seems to be
changing for the better at Hotel Transylvania... Dracula's rigid monster-only
hotel policy has finally relaxed, opening up its doors to human guests. But
behind closed coffins, Drac is worried that his adorable half-human,
half-vampire grandson, Dennis, isn't showing signs of being a vampire. So while
Mavis is busy visiting her human in-laws with Johnny - and in for a major
cultural shock of her own - "Vampa" Drac enlists his friends Frank,
Murray, Wayne and Griffin to put Dennis through a
"monster-in-training" boot camp. But little do they know that Drac's
grumpy and very old, old, old school dad Vlad is about to pay a family visit to
the hotel. And when Vlad finds out that his great-grandson is not a pure blood
- and humans are now welcome at Hotel Transylvania - things are going to get
batty!
A family get-together brings centuries-old ancient vampire
Vlad (Mel Brooks) to town — along with some secrets and drama — to visit the
estranged son he hasn't seen in years. He turns everybody's life upside down,
from Drac (Adam Sandler), Mavis (Selena Gomez) and Jonathan to hotel regulars
such as Frank (Kevin James), Wayne Werewolf (Steve Buscemi) and Murray the
Mummy (Keegan-Michael Key).
Plot twist, the kid won't grow up to have any supernatural or physical traits of a vampire, other than no soul but he will identify as a vampire and everyone will have to accept him that way.
ReplyDeleteWhile it is a very basic story, you don't have to see the ending to know how it's going to end, the animations are impressive and the characters very likeable, and I can bear Adam Sandler.
I would say it is entertaining and sweet!
