Synopsis
16-year-old
Cassie Sullivan tries to survive in a world devastated by the waves of an alien
invasion that has already decimated the population and knocked mankind back to
the Stone Age.
Four
waves of increasingly deadly attacks have left most of Earth in ruin. Against a
backdrop of fear and distrust, Cassie is on the run, desperately trying to save
her younger brother. As she prepares for the inevitable and lethal fifth wave,
Cassie teams up with a young man who may become her final hope - if she can
only trust him.
The 5th Wave book was a pleasant surprise when I read so I was looking forward to the movie. It remains an entertaining movie but it feels more like a teen flick for prepubescent tweets than a Young Adult movie.
ReplyDeleteThere was no love triangle in the movie. Did she even see it? A love triangle would imply the second guy actually had interest in the girl and had more than 5 minutes of interaction in the movie with her. This movie was far from perfect but the so called love triangle was not the problem.
ReplyDeleteIf this sounds familiar to you — if you have seen any or all of the movies in the “Hunger Games,” “Divergent” or “Maze Runner” series — then you know exactly what you are in for with “The 5th Wave.”
ReplyDeleteSome might be asking, why are there five waves? Why don't they just make the aliens scene to be all in one? You might also be thinking, is it because that’s the purpose for dragging the time in the movie? It is a legitimate question though.
ReplyDeleteIt is about another movie of alien attacking the earth?
ReplyDeleteThe human were trying to save the world?
Training of the young generation to be tough and prepare for any worst circumstances.
