The Boy

Synopsis

The Boy is a frightening thrill ride directed by William Brent Bell (The Devil Inside) starring Lauren Cohan ("The Walking Dead"). Greta (Cohan) is a young American woman who takes a job as a nanny in a remote English village, only to discover that the family's 8-year-old is a life-sized doll that the parents care for just like a real boy, as a way to cope with the death of their actual son 20 years prior. After violating a list of strict rules, a series of disturbing and inexplicable events bring Greta's worst nightmare to life, leading her to believe that the doll is actually alive.

  1. My advice is do not watch this creepy movie alone. An American nanny is shocked that her new English family's boy is actually a life-sized doll. After she violates a list of strict rules, disturbing events make her believe that the doll is really alive.

  2. This movie was a lot better than I expected with good acting, good character development, and a good plot. When I first heard about this movie I thought it was going to be another disappointing horror movie, but instead it was a really surprising and well pacing movie with an amazing twists no one's going to see coming.
The director does a fantastic job with this movie. Letting the viewers know what's going on through the whole movie. Making scenes very suspenseful and having a good pay off.

  3. It says, when you break his rules, the worst nightmare will comes in your life.
It is about paint or a doll boy? Seems more to be like a curse sort of story.
